After careful consideration, we decided that we needed to make a top-three list of the best baby jumpers. However, we understand that safety is the most important factor when it comes to buying products for your baby – as it should be.
We did a lot of research and chose the three best products for 2014. Let’s ‘jump’ right into and see what the top picks are.
The #1 Pick
With enough research, we found that this jumper really outperforms the rest. In case you’re wondering, it’s the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo.
We believe the price is definitely affordable for most, and this model really provides the greatest value for the money, which is mostly due to how it has been designed by the manufacturer.
It’s made out of plastic, polyester and metal. It has a rotating seat that makes it easy for baby to turn around and play from all angles. While baby is playing, his or her motor skills are being strengthened by the activities. The colorful rainforest toys provide entertainment for hours.
There is fun music that stimulates auditory and visual senses. You might be happy to learn that this jumper doesn’t require a doorway because it’s not that type. Some parents really try to avoid the doorway models for fear of their baby falling.
Overall, this is an excellent product for the money. It’s made from durable materials, so its safety can be trusted. The sounds, music and other features are very enticing for baby.
The only real downside is that the seat could use some more possible height adjustments. Overall, we think this model provides the best value for the money – and it has an EXCELLENT resale value! You can buy it here.
The #2 Pick
Our second pick is usually the hardest to make. We went with the Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo Jumperoo. It has all of the features that you would expect for this price point. It has lights, sounds and music that reward baby for jumping. It’s not a doorway jumper, so you don’t need a useable doorway.
The seat is very comfortable and rotates. Baby can use the seat to look all around. The lights, sounds and music can all be turned on or off by the parent. Since the height can be adjusted, this model will grow with your baby. The colors are really vibrant and enjoyable.
The base seems incredibly stable. Since the springs are covered with fabric, they’re safe and last a long time. Unlike some other models, the toys aren’t ‘overwhelming’.
The only minor issue with this model is that the hanging rhino and monkey can be difficult for baby to hold onto after grabbing. Overall, we think this jumper is safe enough and has enough value for the money to be #2 on our list. You can purchase it here.
The #3 Pick
For our third choice, we wanted to add a doorway jumper because a lot of parents overlook them, despite the fact that they can be a great source of entertainment for the money. We looked at several different doorway models and ended up choosing the Graco Bumper Jumper in Little Jungle.
It has a high-back nylon seat, which is washable in a standard washer. The bumper that goes around the jumper is soft and serves to protect your home’s woodwork.
There are two interactive toys that are soft and adjustable. It has a plastic dome that makes sure the straps are always spread apart, so it’s easy to add or remove baby. The spring-loaded no mar clamp will easily adjust to the desire doorframe.
We really like this product because it seems to be one of the only doorway models that actually allows baby to jump. Overall, we think this product has plenty of value to offer.
It’s roughly half the price of most non-doorway jumpers but can provide just as much entertainment. However, we will say that it’s extra important to make sure these products are setup correctly. You can buy this product from here.
